Youth who can work independently are certainly invited to join adults in any community class! In addition, here are some current class offerings that are specifically geared towards younger artists:



Early Release: Open Studio Hand Building with Misty Ostrowski
Early Release Monday, May 14th, 2 pm—4 pm (1 week)

Come over for early release Monday’s in May and create whatever your imagination can dream up. Misty will assisting you with making your plan come to life!  Sign up to glaze during one of regular open studio times. No experience required. 

For youth ages 7 through 12.   $35 (materials included)


Poetry & Painting for Kids
with Maria Offer
Sunday, May 20th 12 pm - 2pm (1 week)

This one day workshop will draw on global poetry as an inspiration for chalk pastel drawings and crayon relief paintings.  Kids create art inspired by images they see in their chosen poem and learn about the ways in which written and visual arts inspire one another.  Ages 6 -11 welcome.  $25 (materials included)

Walking Sticks for Juneau Appreciation Day

Saturday, May 5th 11:00-2:00pm

Get ready for your summer hikes & bring your kids to decorate your favorite walking stick in time for summer.  We’ll have some sticks on hand for those who need them or you can seek out that perfect stick in preparation for this event.   (Donations Welcome)
