Painting, Drawing

The Canvas shelves are filled with drawing and painting supplies. Learn techniques and explore different mediums including: pencil, pen, charcoal, acrylic, oil and encaustic paint and print making.

Mixed Media
Explore collage, mosaic, found object art, sculpture and more! Project based instruction offer students a chance to experiment with a variety of mediums. Individual exploration is encouraged.

Pottery
Our pottery studio offers students the opportunity to learn about clay and create functional and sculptural pieces. Explore hand building and develop basic wheel skills including centering, throwing, trimming, and glazing.

Film-making
Tuesdays 4:30-6pm
Learn to make short films. Design, shoot and edit your story. Fiction or documentary, your choice.

Music and Movement Circle
Tuesday-Friday 3-4pm
Find your own beat and make music with others. Join us for music and movement, playing rhythms and songs.

Marimba
Learn Zimbabwean marimba. This wonderful music emphasizes community, beautiful melody and irresistible rhythms that encourage participation by everyone, no matter what your musical experience.

Saori Weaving
"SA" of SAORI has the same meaning as the first syllable of the word "SAI" which is found in Zen vocabulary.  It means everything has its own individual dignity.  And the "ORI" means weaving. This free style weaving started in Japan and focuses on free expression and self development.
