The Work of Paul Shore: Slide Show

The Work of Paul Shore: Slide Show
Friday, July 23, 6:30-7:30pm

The Canvas is excited to welcome visiting artist Paul Shore from New York City for two weeks of drawing intensives this summer. Paul has been making drawings and sculptures of Braids for the past six years. He has taught and exhibited art throughout the country.

Join us for an hour slide show exploring Paul’s past and present work. Current work, titled Braid, approaches the realm of eccentric abstraction and is usually intimate in nature, sometimes erotic. Over the years, with a nod to Surrealism, Paul’s work has worked with forms that convey both male and female qualities.
No cost. Join us for hors d’ouvres and an hour of art!
